SELF-HATRED on November's Doom Days (January edition)

Czech Republic, Pilsen is where SELF-HATRED come from. They will join OPHIS on January 21, 2018. They are followers of the Czech doom metal heritage, which they interpret in their own way.

Founded in 2012 as a reference and in honor of the extinct Czech doom metal scene of the 90's, the band has a plethora of experienced musicians from DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY, SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY, ET MORIEMUR, LLYR and GHOST IN THE SHELL. The impact of these bands combined with a modern doom/black concept embracing depressive black and post-black nuances are exactly the moods that SELF-HATRED draws.

Their debut album "Theia" was released last year via Solitude Productions. Recorded and mixed in Hellsound Studio with Honza Kapák (MASTER'S HAMMER, AVENGER, PANYCHIDA). "Theia" carries the spirit of the 90s, combining modern sound and interpretation of musical fatalism. Forty minute dynamic doom/death metal, diving in allegory depths with former members of Et Moriemur, Dissolving Of Prodigy, and Silent Stream Of Godless Elegy.

SELF-HATRED have almost finished recording their second album. It will be conceptual, entirely in Czech and also recorded in Hellsound Studio.

SELF-HATRED will share the stage at Club Live & Loud with OPHIS and three other bands.
